Corduroy Hat Barcelona

Story behind → 

During my trip to Spain, I couldn't help but notice the four-petal flower pattern that is found all over Barcelona's sidewalks. So I did a little research. In those days, there was no standard for sidewalks, and each homeowner was responsible for paving the portion in front of his or her house. The result… a patchwork of patterns. To standardize all this, the city apparently decided to introduce cement slabs called panots, with the simple flower motif being the most widespread. There's a little mystery here; the motif isn't signed by a specific artist. I found the story behind really compelling and added my own twist to the panots. ;)
